Flat Bench Dumbbell Fly - FEMALE [YOU+]

This exercise is a part of the YOU+ health system. What is YOU+?

Flat Bench DB Fly: Lie on a flat bench with your feet firmly on the floor and your back, glutes, and head flat on the bench. Hold a pair of dumbbells directly over your chest with your arms extended. Your palms should be facing each other. While keeping your elbows slightly bent, lower the dumbbells out to your sides with an arcing motion until your hands are roughly level with your body. Then while keeping your back, hips and head on the bench, squeeze your chest muscles to bring the weight back up to the starting position. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.

Dr. Steve's tip: This exercise isolates the chest without as much involvement from your shoulders and triceps as a press.
